This UK based SME specialising in Automation and Electrical Systems is seeking collaborative partners in the development of a large-scale in-situ concrete 3D printer system for the construction industry. The client is looking for collaborative assistance in the specialist fields of architectural 3D printing slicer software, construction automation and advanced programming. Financial, research / technical cooperation, and/or services agreements will be considered.
The UK based SME provides electrical engineering solutions, with expertise in design, consultancy, manufacturing, installation, machine learning, robotics, automation, prototyping and petrochemical. This company has a diverse range of skills in electrical engineering from design through to execution. Which allows them to offer the services both independently for those who only need partial help, and for those who need a more tailored solution to be designed and executed. 

The company has been vigilantly developing a prototype cementitious additive manufacturing system which they’re looking to further develop into a large-scale In-situ Building Additive Construction (IBAC) platform, intended for rapid fabrication of low-rise structures and/or construction components. The business is looking for a collaborative partner to tackle the software engineering aspects of the project to generate a user-friendly interface integrated with the hardware and systems.

The resultant system will aim to provide a modern automated alternative to traditional or modular construction methods to help close the skills gap in the industry and combat the housing shortage crisis. The system will enable housing developers to very rapidly construct terraced housing as well as the construction companies to build kit-of-parts components on-site, offering significant optimisations of supply chains and processes. 
The client is looking for collaborative assistance in the specialist fields of Architectural 3D printing slicer software, Construction Automation and Advanced Programming.

Partner Sought
The company is seeking a collaborative partner for grant-funded development of a bespoke software solution for operation, management and maintenance of the primary systems and subsystems. The partner would be highly engaged with the core project team for development of an advanced software platform. 

The ideal collaborator would have experience in 3D CAD slicing software development and additive manufacture methodologies and be familiar with BIM, IFC 2x3, AI programming as well as IIOT integration with avid capability in advanced software development. 

The company is looking ideally for a research or technical cooperation agreement but is willing to consider a services or financial agreement depending on discussions with potential partners
